I cannot log into my email and when I try the following message pops up: Scheduled Maintenance
We are undertaking some essential, but extensive maintenance to improve Yahoo! Mail. During the maintenance period, some users may experience problems accessing Yahoo! Mail.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Your account is in great shape and we are working to have it available again as quickly as possible.
Yahoo is experiencing a lot more complaints than normal this morning.
There is probably a service issue mixed in with the usual problems that can be cleared by the guides that help fix software conflicts between your computer and Yahoo Mail.
If any of the information from the above links helps to fix the scheduled maintenance notice please let us know so that everyone else can benefit from the information too.
I am too not able to access emails due to Scheduled Maintenance.I am able to login, but not able to access my emails. Tried using another account to login to yahoo mail, this works. This is so frustrating..
All I see is the below message after successful login

The reference to "restore all access by 1:30pm PT" would have been yesterday December 10 2013 @ 4:30pm EST.When you get back into your account here is how to turn on forwarding:
The new error message users are receiving appears to be:
Can't talk now. System's down.
Sorry for the holdup. Looks like a temporary glitch in our network has part of Yahoo!7 Mail down, so you're briefly without service. Rest assured the alarms are blaring in the basement and our team is working frantically to get you up and running ASAP. Again, the snag is on our end — so there's no need for you to do a thing.
Yahoo!7 Mail Team"
It has been over a day now for this “scheduled maintenance” mess. Each Yahoo account is assigned to a mail “farm”. Your can see your mail farm ID at the beginning of the URL. Mine is “us.f1614.mail”. It would have been nice for Yahoo to switch the mail farm servers to the backup mail farm servers. But that would be similar to asking NASDAQ to switch to their backup computers when the primary computers are down and stocks can’t trade – which we know they can’t or won’t.
