How to fix the "Yahoo recommends you upgrade your web browser" notices (IE,Firefox,Safari,Opera)

To fix the web browser notices you need to either upgrade your Internet Explorer or Firefox,
or trick Yahoo into thinking you're using one of those browsers if you prefer to use Safari or Opera.

The only reported work around for Firefox (Mac) is:

• Not supported - Choose Safari or Opera, or run Firefox from a Windows VM

How about Cometbird? I keep getting stuck on that screen, can't get past it.

Please let us know that solution works for you too.

Some web browsers require the Basic Mail setting, but CometBird appears to work OK with that solution while in Full Featured mode.
