What mail.com smtp server settings are you using?

Try smtp.mail.com using port 465 with SSL enabled and smtp authentication using the same username & password as your incoming mail server settings.

Which mail program are you using?

We'll make some screen shots to help make it easier to fix.

According to this page: Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail error codes, that error code means:

    0x800CCC7AIXP_E_SMTP_NO_SENDERNo sender address specified
I'm not sure what that means in this context though. Perhaps someone more well-versed in Windows Live Mail will be able to help you out.

    Hi docsmith,

Please also see the response to your question here:

Unable to send mail in windows live mail

Essentially I was wondering if you were somehow missing your From: setting or using a From: that your ISP doesn't allow.

In my opinion things should have been fixed years ago, it's their job to keep our emails up and running. This is the sixth time I have made an account and they simply tell me make an account. All my emails from family, from my fiancé are on there and now I just have to hope they fix it? Why make something if it's not going to its purpose and let you send messages? I have had this problem way too much.
