I had my copier setup to scan my doc to my email, until verizon came in and tried to upgrade me to fio's well after I told them that i did not request this they shut off my account by mistake than they activated it. now my email does no longer works.
Try double checking that your copier has the most current SMTP server name for Verizon configured :
Incoming mail server (POP3): incoming.verizon.net
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): outgoing.verizon.net
What happens if from a windows computer you go to start -> run and then enter the command :
telnet outgoing.verizon.net 25
Do you get a window that opens and has an smtp 220 response that looks something like :
Connected to outgoing.verizon.net.
Escape character is '^]'.

If you can connect OK but still can not send outgoing email try calling Verizon at 1.800.837.4966
