I have been blocked from my email account

New Email
Every time I try to log in it says "It looks like someone else might be using your account"To help you—and only you—get back into *************, we need to verify that it's yours.

I have been filling in all the required details for weeks now.. but no matter how hard I try I can't get it.. it is vital as it has all my contacts from the last ten years..:confused: Also there are some really precious emails from friends who have since passed that I treasure. :(
I have just passed my counselling course last December and so need access to a lot of information in my email accounts to get started in my career... I have even tried to get my 'tech savvy' children to help me recover my account .. but even they are beaten... Please help!!!

I checked my email from the new account and got another questionnaire to fill in... to help me gain access to my old treasured account .. but still no results... Hopefully , maybe in the next couple of hours or so.. they will be kind enough to allow me back into my email account... I am ever hopeful...

Can you copy and paste the questionnaire into a reply here?

I'm concerned that you might be answering phishing email and not e legitimate attempt from an email service provider to help you get back an email account.

Yes, it is true that people frequently receive spam that tries to imitate official wording and processes from a variety of email service providers, banks, etc.

Do not ever reply to an email that asks for your password or other personal information.

There is indeed a Hotmail verification process for blocked accounts.

I do not like that you were asked for your previous passwords.

Can you attach a screen shot with mouse over of exactly what you are seeing?

If it's easier on your peace of mind we offer live support and can take the time to login to your computer and help verify that you are not hacked or have responded to a phishing email if you prefer that option. Worst case, if you are hacked or replied to a phishing email, we'll also help to secure your account. You would be able to see everything we are doing as we explain it over the phone.
