How to verify a Hotmail account - Your account has been temporarily blocked

Hello,

Are you receiving a message from Hotmail that your account has been temporarily blocked?

First, users in some countries have the option to verify their account with a mobile number - https://sms.live.com/

If your account was hacked and the number changed use this link to add another phone number to your Hotmail account

You may also need to reset your linked accounts.

Tried all of the above links and neither works? Contact Hotmail Support.

hi,I'm still having trouble getting back my blocked account.I kept trying and answering all the form you through customer support but still doesn't work.I created a new email account which is I am using now and this new email account is linked to my old email account.Is there an easy way to unblocked my account and how long are they going to blocked my account?Help pls!

It has been reported that secure@microsoft.com can also help resolve problems with blocked Hotmail accounts.

I just tried the secure@microsoft.com address and they can't help. They just redirected me to the Hotmail password reset page; https://account.live.com/password/reset saying they don't provide technical support.

no of those links have worked for me either, i have reset my password but no matter what else i do i still have this https://account.live.com/security/Aci.aspx/A1 then i am sent here https://account.live.com/security/Aci.aspx/A2 I do not have access to that account no longer to get into my other account for a code

Try THIS and choose the option that you think someone else is using your account. See if you can get somewhere doing that.

Good news guys, it looks like Microsoft stepped it up and has done some work, i just went back and tried it again and i was able to send a report. I did go and just make another e-mail adress, but hopefully i get an e-mail with some good news.

Hi,

e-mail has been hacked, my second email address to verify is a old tiscali one that doenst even exist anymore, really struggling to get my account back and i really need to access some e-mails, i answered the security questions and failed (as e-mail was set up 15 years ago) i have tried again but no reply as to if its been successful or not! any other things i can do?

any advice is greatly appreciated.

hey,
when i try logging into my e-mail, it says "it looks like somebody else may be using your account" and it wont let me access it, it then asks me what account im trying to unblock, i enter it, it asks me to enter a email address to contact, i enter it and it then takes me to the next page with a list of recovery questions, ive answered them all correctly accept there are some questions i cannot answer for example it asks for the names of any folders ive created -- i havnt created any, it asks for the last 4 digits of my credit card -- i dont have a credit card, it asks for other passwords ive used on the account -- ive only used the one password and so on so i just leave these fields blank so when i finish, it tells me the information i have entered is inadequate so i am unable to access my e-mail address, anyone know of any other ways i can get into my email??
