To delay the delivery of all email sent from Microsoft Outlook please follow this procedure:
- Go to the Tools menu, click Rules and Alerts, and then click New Rule
- Select Start from a blank rule
- ClickCheck messages after sending and then click Next
- In theSelect condition(s) list, select your preferred options and then click Next
- Click Yes to apply the rule to all messages that you send
- In the Select action(s) list, pick defer delivery by a number of minutes
- In the Edit the rule description box, click the underlined test a number of and then enter the number of minutes you want emails delayed before sending
- Click OK and then click Next
- Select any exceptions, such as coworkers in your email domain, and then click Next
- In the Specify a name for this rule box type the name "Delay Sending Email" for the message rule
- Click Finish
