How to delay the delivery of all email sent from Microsoft Outlook

    To delay the delivery of all email sent from Microsoft Outlook please follow this procedure:

    • Go to the Tools menu, click Rules and Alerts, and then click New Rule
    • Select Start from a blank rule
    • ClickCheck messages after sending and then click Next
    • In theSelect condition(s) list, select your preferred options and then click Next
    • Click Yes to apply the rule to all messages that you send
    • In the Select action(s) list, pick defer delivery by a number of minutes
    • In the Edit the rule description box, click the underlined test a number of and then enter the number of minutes you want emails delayed before sending
    • Click OK and then click Next
    • Select any exceptions, such as coworkers in your email domain, and then click Next
    • In the Specify a name for this rule box type the name "Delay Sending Email" for the message rule
    • Click Finish
