not recieving some emails

Several times from a particular sender, I do not receive the email in my inbox. I am only alerted to its existence due to responses by other people. I have looked at the email in the response and my correct email address is listed in the original email that I should have received. I get other emails from this person.

Who provides your email service? Does your ISP have any anti-spam mechanisms that you do not control for example server controlled spam blocks using RBL's? Is the sender on any of those lists? With the full email headers from on of the emails you did not receive we can help you to answer some of those questions. Does the sender eventually get a bounce message? With some ISP's it can take a couple days for the original sender to get back an error message and often times those messages get filtered to their spam folder.
