To turn off keyboard shortcuts in Hotmail please do the following:
Go to the top right of your inbox, click the Gear, and select More Mail Settings:
Next, click the link for Keyboard Shortcuts:
Select the option to Turn off Keyboard Shortcuts, then click Save:
