How to resize pictures from a digital camera before emailing them

    Are the pictures from your digital camera too big to email?

    Here are the steps to make them a smaller size suitable for emailing or uploading to a web site.

    • Open the picture in Microsoft Paint
    • Go to the Image menu and select Stretch/Skew
    • Resize the image to 30% of the original size
    • Go to the File menu and select Save As to save the smaller version as a new file
    The best file format to Save As is JPG.

    Your camera may be different than mine so a resize of 20% or 40% may work better for you.
