Gmail forwarding

Does anyone know of a way to forward a "group" of emails from Gmail to another email account? I have applied a label to all of the messages that I need to forward and have tried to use the filter option but I don't want every message I have from "John Doe" forward - just those labeled "Pre2008". They all have different subject lines so that isn't an option either; the number of messages is quite large so doing them 1 at a time is not really what I want to do.

Any help is much appreciated.

The easiest way to get this done is to download a copy of your email using pop3 program on your computer such as Mozilla Thunderbird and use that program to do the forwarding.
