   depends on how and where I want mail going. For a webmail scenario where I rarely if ever pull mail off a server, IMAP all the way The foldering, and other features IMAP offers are invaluable. In a pull mail scenario where I intend to store mail in my local client such as outlook, or Evolution (now owned by Novell, formerly Ximian) nothing gets easier than POP3 . . .
