I added simple functionality.
You should be able to register domain just by verifying ownership, but it should be bare domain name. You will need only to add TXT record with verification string.
After you do that, click on your domain and you should see new fields where you can add subdomain.
Don't forget to save changes. Navigate to Aliases/Disposable and click to add new alias, you should be able to select your bare domain and sub-domains you added.
Works a treat - created sub domain alias and sent/received email to/from it (i have confirmed steps i took below)
thank you
Code:
Add Domain.com
setup verification string only in dns
waited.....Refresh DNS.....Owner verified
enter 'sub.domain.com' in subdomain box
click + sign
click save
Result:-
SPF: failed
MX: failed
Owner: verified
DKIM: failed
Status: Some Error
As a result can add alias for sub.domain.com.domain.com !!!!
Started again....
Add Domain.com
setup verification string only in dns
waited.....Refresh DNS.....Owner verified
enter 'sub' in subdomain box
click + sign
click save
Result:-
SPF: failed
MX: failed
Owner: verified
DKIM: failed
Status: Some Error
Added alias address for 'sub.domain.com'
sent mail from alias address - received ok
replied and received ok
Well, so whats happening I need to strip your subdomain to get dns record of the domain. There is a script that responsible for it, and it may have an issue, when dealing with multilevel subdomain. give me few hours to make it straight
Thanks....seems ok but will do more testing later....
deleted domain2.com to start again.
I have domain1.com & abc.domain1.com registered and in alias list.
I add domain2.com - all ok
I add abc.domain2.com and accepted but not in alias list.
I delete domain2.com and try again....
I add domain2.com - all ok
I add abx.domain2.com - all ok
seems multiple sub domains with the same sub-name cause an issue?
will do some send receive testing later when i can.
Ok problem that I have, is that ccTLD is country code and should have an preffix. in your case you trying to submit xxx.domain.im which where system believe domain.im is prefix, and xxx is actual domain. My solution was incorrect yesterday, but I'm still thinking how to solve this
will do - but need to do some more testing really.
the emails have come through but looks like one took 1 hour, the other took 3 hrs.
just sent an email to my scryptmail alias and it took a couple of minutes. Waiting for another to my subdomain alias.....
