    Howdy Folks,

Today I'm going to give you a short tutorial for adding a Gmail account to Apple Mail. Apple mail makes this really simple it's as simple as adding plugging in your Gmail address and password. Please note this method is only for adding Gmail via POP Access, IMAP is a little more advanced and will be covered in the next tutorial.

Open Mail from your Applications folder and select Preferences from the Mail Menu. Select the accounts tab and press the little + sign. You're presented with this screen:

Type in your name as you would like it displayed on outgoing email, you're email address, and password.

    That's it you're all set.

Clearwire uses gmail for set-up. The new Apple Mail in Snow Leopard pretty much sets itself up for you!
