New Email
When I could not open Yahoo to access Yahoo Mail today, I assumed it was
a) that my bookmark pointed to a no longer valid URL. (It opens a login page so I can have the large menu on the left contain the tools I most frequently use.)
b) that Yahoo does not want to recognize the SeaMonkey version of the Mozilla browser, the one that is perpetually one version behind FireFox, but has email as an integral part of the browser
c) my aging dsl modem from Earthlink was finally failing, or the less than stellar connection speed was compromising my access.
I gritted my teeth and opened Internet Explorer and had the same "not found" experience there, too.
I tried calling Yahoo. They are 'just down the street a mile or so, but I could not get the attention of a human being in all their protective phone tree. That makes me suspicious that they are well and truly down, even though a Google News search turns up nothing.
Confirmation anybody?
Thanks,
baumgrenze
