Yahoo Webmail Center Suspicious E-Mail

I am writing because I received a suspicious email. It was from the Yahoo WebMail Center. It stated I had to report my email and password within a few days in order to retain my Yahoo email.

Please let me know if this is trash.

Hi Sherry,

This e-mail is a phishing scam. You should delete it.

Yahoo and other service providers will not ask you for your personal information over e-mail.

Got the same thing today--replied to sender-- sbcglobaaccount@yahoo.com--
***THIS APPEARS TO BE EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS IN AN EFFORT TO GET PERSONAL INFORMATION-----IF INDEED IT IS FROM MY CARRIER, I WILL VERIFY ONLY WHEN I CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY---IF NOT------------------YOU WILL BE REPORTED TO THE FEDS!!!!!!!!!***
