If you use a pop client to check your Outlook mail your account may eventually use up too much space and go over quota if you do not occasionally clean up your inbox and folders.
To give your mail program access to really delete email from your Outlook account check these settings:
Open your Outlook settings:
Click pop and deleting downloaded messages:
Choose the radio button to select your preference, then click Save.
