Verizon blocking email from Gmail

Verizon appears to be blocking at least some email from Gmail

I received the following warning a few days after sending email to a verizon.net email address

Email from 74.125.82.175 is currently blocked by Verizon Online's anti-spam system. The email sender or Email Service Provider may visit Verizon Online and request removal of the block. 100709]

I put in a whitelist request for the that Google IP, lets see if it works.

This problem appears to have been resolved on Friday.

I've been having similar problems with my Yahoo account when trying to send messages to verizon.net address.

A couple of days after sending an email I get this message in the bounceback:

Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.

<XXXXXXXXX@verizon.net>:
Mail server for "verizon.net" unreachable for too long

It does not happen 100% of the time...

Do you have the full bounce message?

We can always try to put in a request to allow the blocked Yahoo mail server(s) too.
