Do you have a qmail server that is not sending e-mail, or receiving but not delivering new e-mail? One of the things to check in your qmail queue. Run the command /var/qmail/bin/qmail-qstat and see if you have an e-mails in queue that have not been preprocessed. If the number is greater than 0 you may be a victim of the "silly qmail syndrome". If the problem persists, you can add the EXTTODO patch to your qmail server. After applying this patch and reinstalling qmail (# make setup check) you should no longer have this problem and notice a new process called qmail-todo running on your server.
