If I accidentally sent something to the wrong person can I take it away before they can read it? Can I recall messages? Can I try calling IT to take it back?
Microsoft Outlook in a Microsoft Exchange corporate email environment usually has a recall feature enabled that lets you unsend an email. It's possible for the recipient could have opened the email before you hit recall. It's also possible that the recipient will get a notification email saying that a message with that subject line was recalled. Most internet email sent through email service providers and ISP smtp mail servers can not be recalled.
