incoming goes to delete file

I am trying to fix my 90 year old MIL's e-mail. Have no idea what she did & neither does she. Every message that I send to her goes directly into her delete file. How do I undo that?

Does she read the email with their webmail or a mail program on her computer?

She is using Outlook Express on her computer. Does this have something to do with rules??

Is she connecting with pop3 or imap?

You'll want to check the message rules and filters both in her outlook express and any webmail interfaces.

Sometimes hackers create message rules help hide from an account owner than their account is compromised.

It's also possible Grandma clicked something and made a bad rule, check for both.
