To whitelist a sender in Outlook.com:
- At the top right of your inbox click the Settings icon and select More Mail Settings
- In the Preventing Junk Email section click Safe and Blocked Senders
- Click Safe Senders
- Type in the contacts email address and then click the Add To List button
- To get back to your inbox go to the top left, click the menu square, and then click Outlook.com :
