Are you getting connection errors when connecting to Yahoo Mail from your iPhone?
If you are not using the Yahoo Mail app, we recommend you try that first.
If the Yahoo Mail app does not work for you, this is how to manually configure Yahoo Mail as an IMAP account on your iPhone.
Go to Settings and tap Mail Contacts Calendars:
Continue to tap through selecting Other and Add Mail account:
Next, type in your account information on the following two screens:
The incoming mail server name is imap.mail.yahoo.com
The outgoing mail server name is smtp.mail.yahoo.com
In the Advanced settings turn on SSL:
The incoming mail server port is 993
The outgoing mail server port is 465
Both mail server names require SSL.
The outgoing mail server requires authentication using the same username and password that you used for the incoming mail server.
