To delete a contact from Gmail:
Is removing a contact from Gmail's autocomplete suggestions that popup when composing a new email not the solution?
To delete a contact from Gmail:
- Click the arrow next to Gmail logo and select contacts
- Search for the contact and click on them to open their details page
- Click to the right of their name to make the Trash appear
- Click the Trash can and then click Delete
