I have an old email account that ends in "sbcglobal.net". I no longer use this address. It has been used recently by a site to spread spam. An email is sent to 30 or 40 of my contacts with instructions to open a site. Where should I go to cancel that account? And what else do I need to do to stop these spam emails? Thanks joebono381
Do you still have their internet service? The dialup and old DSL accounts are tied to the email address, be careful about cancelling. Here is the link for recovering one of the old sbcglobal accounts:
After getting back control of the account make sure you change your password and change all of your security info such as security Q&A and alternate email addresses.
