421 Too many spams from your IP

Are you getting the smtp error code 421_Too_many_spams_from_your_IP ?

There are several things to check on your mail server including :

  • Verify that none of your clients or accounts are compromised/spamming
  • Verify that no one (sales, marketing) is sending emails that have spammy content
  • Check the IP address of your mail server to see if it's on a blacklist
  • New! Web site addresses (URL's) in email signatures could be a problem
Make sure you fix the problem and have removed any remaining spam from your outgoing email queues before you submit a request to be delisted from an RBL / blacklist.
