I have folders set up such as 'items ordered', 'newsgroups', etc. Some of the mail automatically goes into the folders, others I drop and drag into the folders. Today when I logged in to my mail at least half of the folders are missing. Why? I know there should be mail automatically going into those folders and they are not there. I can not find a place to get the folders back. This has happened before, today I have rebooted the computer and they are still missing. I am running windows 7 - Windows live mail. Thank you for any help you can give me:hammer:

Do you use IMAP to receive your mail? Maybe the folders became hidden.
Select your account name in the folder list. Then go to Accounts and select IMAP-folders. Can you see them in there?
