unlock my email account

i tried to log in to my email and was denied access telling me my account has bin blocked and when i tried to open it , the question i was asked i had no idea of it cos it has bin a long time i gave the info but if they could try me with more personal questions i wil be able to answer them cos i never lied about my details i gave concerning myself and it is thesame email i used in opening my facebook account pls that email holds alot of my personal info kindly help me restore it thanks
