    Hello,

Is your option to display the column headings in Windows Live Mail greyed out?

Go to View -> Message List -> One-line View

Once you are in one line view mode you will be able to see the column headers such as From: and Subject.

I have clicked on one line view but still cannot see the column headers such as From: and Subject.

    Hi Barbara,

Right click where I scribbled in red, and then select columns :

In the window that opens up there will be check boxes for column headers such as From: and Subject:

Thanks for your quick response but I am still having a problem. My email is listed in this fashion
    From Subject Date
with nothing showing where you scribbled in red. I have resized the columns listed above - and nothing. I don't know what else to try.

I think I can do it now. I wasn't clicked on "View". Windows Live has more options than I know how to deal with but I'm working on it. Thanks again and you may hear from me again.
