How could someone change an attachment that was sent to them? There is more data in the attachment now than when I sent it. Thanks very much

    Hi Mae,

How much more and what kind of data? Can you see the changes?

Is it a virus or some other spyware that added itself to the attachment?

It is a Quick Books backup. There are invoices now that are not in the original backup. I have no idea how the backup was changed. Anyone have an idea how the backup could be changed? Thanks.

Try sending the attachment to a second email account that belongs to you.

Do you see the extra data when opening it from the second account?

Are both of you using the same program to open the attachment?
