Are messages still deleted after specified time if I haven't connected to pop mail?

Sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere but I am trying to work out a problem.

My Outlook is set to delete messages from the server after a few days. My PC has just completely failed and for the next few days I am restricted to the webmail client set up for my account.

My question is this: Will the messages still be deleted after the specified time while my PC is offline, even if I read them via webmail?

Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

No, outlook and webmail are different ways for accessing the same inbox but they use different protocols and settings. While your webmail may have some settings for account maintenance, it's not going to be using the same settings that you had configured within Microsoft Outlook.
