Is there anything important in your email?

I have a special folder in my email account that I retain for reference and such. I always depend on the "cloud" maintaining that. This thread has helped me realize the need to back it up. Kinda like people who bring crashed hard drives to you: "Did you back up recently?" "No, I didn't...

Thanks! I dug around and found the Buffalo, NY twci servers. In reference to the "configuring a smarthost in sendmail" link you provided, the "your-company" part is the roadrunner addresses, correct? Not my local private domain? Thanks! --zepcom

Gmail: Using Gmail For All Your Email

There's a way to protect against that... actually. (when I get enough posts in I will send along the link as this website is currently preventing me to do so...) anyways ... you can search for this and find it yourself I'm sure:

    Sendmail Forwarder to gmail.com?

Hi, I'm trying to design a notification system for a home user. I have a linux host running sendmail that is configured to send messages up to an email account on gmail. That works fine. The problem is that there is another host on the same internal 192-network that needs to send emails out...

    Number One Complaint

I've found that gmail.com does an excellent job at filtering out spam. Once in a while it flags a non-spam message as spam, but overall I'm very impressed with the gmail capabilities as it relates to Spam Management. On the other hand, my yahoo account currently has a bit of spam... Yikes...
