I am not familiar enough with Sparrow to be able to provide a step by step setup. I was also unable to find a guide on their site. If you have tried both 143 and 993 for connecting to imap.secureserver.net, then there is a high possiblity that something along the way is blocking Sparrow...
There are some common causes to this issue. I will try list them to see if we can get things working.
