I am using a hotmail account to run a local community project which requires contact with 70 local people sometimes with attachments. The account works when I send to one or two people but not when I include everybody. Is there an automatic block at some capacity level and how do I resolve it ?
Are you sending to that group more than once a day?
Is there a magic round number such as 50 that works more consistently? It used to be 100 so sending to 70 being a problem surprises me unless you're sending too frequently.
Hotmail, like most other free email service providers, has recipient and email sending limits to help prevent spam.
An nice alternative for small lists is MailChimp. Your list is within their free service plan limits.
