Hello,

The Hotmail Team at Microsoft has been busy rolling out the latest version of Hotmail the last few weeks.

Microsoft is claiming the following benefits of using the latest Hotmail:

  • Familiar, fast, powerful
    • A whopping 5 GB of storage
    • New design: choose your own colors and layout
  • Security by Microsoft
    • See at a glance if an e-mail seems to be suspicious
    • Destroy junk e-mail with a single click
    • Powerful virus scanning and cleaning
  • Looks and feels more like Outlook—on the Web
    • Preview your messages in the reading pane
    • Drag-and-drop powers of organization

I have not had any issues with the recent upgrade, but many other Hotmail member have experienced problems.

The most commonly reported Hotmail problem on E-Mail Questions has been the missing scroll bar problem.

If you are also experiencing this problem please see our guide on how to fix your scroll bar in the new windows live hotmail.

Another frequently reported problem is getting a blank page or being redirected to a blank page after logging in.

If you need help with this problem please see our guide on how to fix a Hotmail blank login page.

The Hotmail Team Blog reports that this and similar issues should be resolved soon.

What do you think about the new Windows Live Hotmail?
