Is there a way I can disable the 'Yahoo Mail for Mobile' feature in yahoo email so that it doesn't run and so that it doesn't give me pop-up ads?

Thanks for any tips.

Are you trying to use a regular web browser on a mobile device?

How are you reading / launching your Yahoo Mail?

I'm using a PC.

I'm reading / launching yahoo email on my PC.

'Yahoo Mail for Mobile' is a menu choice in the left-hand pane, and sometimes it 'activates', although I forget exactly what the message was.

Anyhow, I have no reason for it to activate and I'd like to silence it.

OK, I understand now.

No, I do not believe it's possible to disable that link.

As long as you don't click it you shouldn't be prompted to get the mobile app.

Is it randomly clicking itself or somehow getting in your way, for example do you have a lot of folders and they are somehow overlapping that link in your web browser?

I don't think the mouse was close to the link when it activated, but perhaps I'm wrong.

Next time it activates, I'll take a screenshot.

Thanks very much for the replies.
