Windows Live Mail - Left column-quick view - folders are missing

I have folders set up such as 'items ordered', 'newsgroups', etc. Some of the mail automatically goes into the folders, others I drop and drag into the folders. Today when I logged in to my mail at least half of the folders are missing. Why? I know there should be mail automatically going into those folders and they are not there. I can not find a place to get the folders back. This has happened before, today I have rebooted the computer and they are still missing. I am running windows 7 - Windows live mail. Do you use IMAP to receive your mail? Maybe the folders became hidden.
Select your account name in the folder list. Then go to Accounts and select IMAP-folders. Can you see them in there?
