Some companies are sending email more frequently right now during the holiday and special sale days for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. I have seen the ability to set a frequency preference for some of them, for example Omaha Steaks. They were sending me special deal emails every day. When I tried to unsubscribe the form gave me the option to reduce the frequency of their emails so I only get them like one a month and during the holidays.
