When i try in install McAfee I get a pop up saying restart your computer

Why does McAfee require that I restart my computer? Is there a problem?

Yes, it's normal when installing a security program such as McAfee or Avast to get promoted for a reboot.

The rebooted is needed so the problem can get loaded and start scanning before other potential harmful programs can begin running and/or hide themselves.
