how do i verify the validity of an email address for free?

Hello,

To test the validity of an email address you can :

• Send an email to it and see if it bounces.
• For the more technical you can do a manual SMTP conversation and see if the MX server accepts the email.

Keep in mind that with either test, the lack of a bounce message or confirmation the MX is not rejecting the recipient, does not guarantee that the email was or would have been delivered the the recipients inbox.
