unconfigure Windows live mail

Hi, I want to get rid of windows live mail, but I don't want to delete the program. I can't remember how I originally configued it or where I would start.
I have gmail connected to it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks JW

The only way I want to receive my mail is thru Google. I want Windows Live Mail to just be a non-active, non-connected program on my computer for future use if I should change my mind and want to use it again.
So from your options,
I think I want to remove my Gmail configuration from Windows Live Mail.
Does that make sense?
