Unable to get emails

I keep on getting notices that I have exceed my quota. I have deleted extensively and I am still unable to receive emails. How do I correct this?

Which email service do you use?

If you are using a webmail check your trash, spam, and other folders. Also make sure that deleted messages are expunged.

If you are using a pop3 mail connection verify that you are not leaving mail on the server that is causing your account to go over quota.
