unable to access my Hotmail account......help needed ASAP

i use my hotmail email account mostly to correspond with my lectures..... today i after using this account for more than 5 years found out i am unable to access it..... i try to reset my password as well as try answering my my secret question. i am still unable to access it...... so could some one pls tell me how to reactivate it, since my work is vital for this semester........
