Trash account on email

David

New Email
On my MAC I noticed yesterday on my att.net email under TRASH, there was also a subheading "Trash-att.net". Since it was a duplicate of TRASH, I deleted it. To my chagrin both sites were emptied. The problem now is that when I try to delete an email from my Inbox, the following message appears:

The destination mailbox "Trash-att.net" does not allow messages to be moved to it.

Now I am unable to delete any messages. What can I do to restore TRASH so that my deleted messages can be sent there?

Thanks for your help

Hi David,

I'd contact ATT directly. They may need to recreate the folder directly on the server if you do not have permission to create it from within your email program. If they walk you through a fix please share the solution with us.

:thanks: and :welcome: to Email Questions!
