Strange thing happened

My wife received an auto created e-mail from work yesterday with "her" pay sheet attached. Only it was not her pay sheet, it was a colleagues. The e-mail was generated by MYOB.
However this morning when she went to show the e-mail to pay office, the colleagues attached pay sheet was not there, and hers was.
I saw it with my own eyes and cannot believe that this can happen????????
Any one seen this or better still can explain how this is possible?

This does indeed sound strange unless some custom email system is used that allows for modifications to attachments on-the-fly?

Hi Graham,

Was it an actual file attachment? If yes, what extension does the file have?

It is possible that instead of an attached file it was a link that downloaded a file such as a PDF that gets created on the fly?
