setting up yahoo in outlook

I am having trouble setting up my yahoo mail to go through outlook. I have downloaded ypops and have followed all the instructions for setting up yahoo. but when I click on the "test email" button I get the message, "unable to log on to outgoing mail server". Right now I have my incoming and outgoing mail server as 127.0.0.1 . What do I need to do to correct this problem with out upgrading to yahoo mail plus?

I have followed all of those steps and when I run the test tab, I get the error that it is unable to log on to outgoing mail server.

Do you have a firewall or anti-virus program that may be blocking the connections?

To rule them out try turning off your anti-virus and firewall for a moment and try to connecting to your email.

Don't forget to turn your security software back on when you are done!
