Sending E-Mail Problem Corrected By Draft

Occasionally I have difficulty sending e-mails because once I hit SEND the e-mail just gets hung up and goes nowhere. I have found that by saving the e-mail as a DRAFT, opening it and then hitting SEND always corrects the problem. Any ideas? Thanks!

Which email service or mail client on your computer was having this problem?
