Hi all, Just lately I am having trouble with Thunderbird saving email with images attached, normally I forward the mail, clean off the dross, and save to a dedicated folder with the intention of re sending as an attachment at a later date.
The problem is when I open the email there is now a grey band behind the "Forward Reply Junk & Delete" tabs with a scrolling menu of meta data, the body of the mail with images and text are below, and once forwarded the mail is saved to the correct folder with blank squares where the images should be or loads of meta data text, which goes on for ever.
And I have also noticed that the emails are not being saved as they were which was .eml with the Thunderbird icon but now as html with a Libre writer icon
I have have tried different solutions which I have found in internet searches and besides the problem I have probably made the settings much worse, so if anybody can help it will be most appreciated, regards Robert.
