recovering unedited email

How do I recover an original unedited email that was sent to me then edited?

Do you mean that you think an email was edited before it was forwarded to you, or that an email in your account was edited after you received it?

Hello,
Thank you for the reply. I don't know why but, your email went direcrly to the trash. I just got it today. Back to my original question, I meant an email already in my account. Can that really be edited after it was sent and if so how do I retreive the original email?
